Kutura is a 2nd year master's student studying general biology at Georgia State University. She is completing her capstone in Dr. Forger's lab to learn more about the brain. Growing up in California, her interest in the brain and molecular diseases started after watching family members succumb to rare or incurable diseases. Her B.A. was awarded from Howard University in Strategic Communications and continued her baccalaureate studies at Agnes Scott College in pre-medicine. After completing her master's degree, she hopes to become a physician-scientist. When she is not working, or studying she loves to babysit her niece, volunteer, and cuddle with her dog.
