Taylor Hite

Lab Technician

I received my B.S. in Neuroscience from Georgia State University in May 2019. Currently, I am working with Dr. Alexandra Castillo-Ruiz on studying how birth impacts cell death patterns in the brain. I am interested in further studying birth and development and how this influences the likelihood of developing psychiatric illnesses and addictions. My ultimate goal is to earn a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and continue to research. Outside the lab, I enjoy relaxing with my two beautiful fur babies (cats), running, socializing with friends, and playing piano and guitar.
